About Hemicycles
Making parliamentary data accessible, transparent, and understandable for everyone.
Our Mission
Democracy thrives on transparency and informed citizens. Hemicycles is built on the belief that parliamentary data should be accessible to everyone, not just political insiders or researchers.
We transform complex legislative data into intuitive visualizations, helping citizens understand how their representatives vote, who influences policy decisions, and what political networks exist within parliaments.
Transparency
All our visualizations are built on publicly available parliamentary data. We believe in making the political process visible and understandable.
Open Data
We leverage open data sources to create our analytics. Parliamentary records, voting data, and transparency declarations form the foundation of our platform.
Accessibility
Complex data should be easy to understand. We design our visualizations to be intuitive and accessible to everyone, regardless of technical expertise.
Non-Partisan
We present data without bias or political agenda. Our goal is to inform, not to influence political opinions or favor any particular party.
Data Sources
Hemicycles is built on open data from trusted parliamentary and governmental institutions. We are committed to properly attributing the sources of our data and complying with all applicable licenses.
European Parliament
Open data from the European Parliament, available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
